About Kadambari
Woman’s Fashion has a history from a very ancient era, right from the early time we have had something from the nature to cover oneself and that made the people look better and feel good, right from the dress made from leaves till this era where we have many varieties of clothing. If we run through our history every human across this globe wears something to look, feel better, and mostly to feel secure. What we wear is an outlook of our inner soul’s comfort. When it comes to women their way of presenting their clothing is changing with time and our Indian women have always transformed their dressing sense to the way of their surroundings. I am Sudakshina Das, the founder of Kadambari. By degree, I am an Engineer and worked at a most reputed multinational IT Firm before I started Kadambari. Kadambari Store started its journey in 2017 February. Although I was an IT Employee, I was always passionate about Indian weaves, art, fashion, and design. After I grew up, I always had a knack for designing my clothes. My passion for art and fashion was the stepping stone to starting Kadambari.

About My Journey
As the journey at Kadambari started and after meeting people from various walks of life, understanding their fashion sense, and infusing my designs virtually and when I put across the design on the paper I started to sense the success of my product output. My knowledge of traditional saree and various weaves from India and particularly West Bengal started my business journey to the place where I am today.
In 2018 June, I opened a retail outlet come workshop in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. My passion became my bread and butter and our team grew slowly. I have had a few bunches of repetitive customers, who gave me more confidence to make my product as a brand. Today we have expanded our business to readymade apparel like blouses, kurtis, ladies tops, indo western dresses, etc, and accessories and customized clothing which are all designed and made in-house.
We work with Hand Embroidery, Hand Block Print, Hand Painting, and other traditional fabrics and weaves of India. We work with artisans from rural Bengal, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Odissa, Gujrat, and various states in India.
